Highlights from PREMIER’s engagement with DG SANTE

During a meeting with Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), organized by EFPIA, members of DG SANTE’s Medicines: policy, authorisation and monitoring unit engaged in discussions on PREMIER’s innovative solutions. DG SANTE expressed particular interest in the project’s prioritisation framework, which aims to streamline the environmental assessment of legacy pharmaceuticals, minimize animal testing, and reduce costs. These efforts directly address key challenges outlined in the draft pharmaceutical legislation, reinforcing PREMIER’s role in driving sustainable and innovative regulatory advancements.
